I've always had a passion for margaritas. For a long time, I've traveled to many different restaurants and bars looking for the perfect recipe.

Living in Cedar Rapids, IA for 30 years, there are a few favorites, right there in town. In 2020, when COVID hit and caused everything to shut down, sadly including my favorite watering hole.

I had the opportunity to move back to my hometown of Manchester to be closer to family and friends, and I took it. A small town in N.E. Iowa, there aren't many places to get a good marg. That's when the light bulb came on!

I decided right then and there to start making my own margs. It took a good 7 or 8 months of experimenting with this and that, but eventually it got better and better. One day, a friend stopped by and I asked him to try my new batch. He said, “Nooo way!”

“Just try it,” I said. He did, and what came out of his mouth next was priceless:
Ya know, Tank... I don't like margaritas, but I'd drink this. This is really good!!!" I knew it was good, but if my skeptical friend was hooked on my margaritas that fast, I knew I had something worth sharing.

Now, here we are, reinventing the lime wheel. That beautiful see through lime green mix is unlike anything else available on the shelf. Not cloudy or full of unidentified product floating around in your drink.
